2012 – What a year…
December 21st, 2012
Here we are at the end of another year! And what a year 2012 has been. There are a lot of people that made it all possible, far too many to list here. However I want to say a huge thankyou to everyone who takes a little time out of their day to look at the photographs I post and follow what is going on with Saltmotion – you’re the people that really make it happen…
In 2012 I was fortunate enough to be able to bring you photographs from Fiji, The Maldives (Southern Atolls), The Banyak Islands (Indonesia), The Maldives (North Male Atolls), West Java (Indonesia), New Zealand, PNG and of course Manly. I decided today I would leave you with my 12 favourite photographs of the year, one from each overseas location and the rest from Manly.
The aim of 2013 will be to bring you closer to some of the worlds most remote and untouched surfing destinations. I’m not giving away any secrets, but there are opportunities available for anyone who wishes to come exploring with us, details (here).
Throughout the New Year period the Saltmotion Gallery will be open except for the public holidays. Our Christmas angels (Sarah and Sherrie) are on hand to help you with any artworks you wish to put under the tree, or for yourself! I will be back with you in January – and starting off in 2013 from somewhere really special!
Merry Christmas and all the best for 2013,
Joel Coleman…
