Welcome back to the Maldives. I love this place. The warm clear water and tropical reef breaks are a favourite haunt of mine. This trip is a little more special simply because the boat we are on board, the “Carpe Vita”, happens to be the most luxurious surf charter vessel operating in the Maldives. When I say we are doing it in style, you have to think three course dinners, double beds, on-suite bathrooms and a Jacuzzi on the top deck! Yep, it’s amazing how fast you can get used to this kind of living. I will post as many photos of the boat as I can over the coming days, as well as keeping you entertained with some perfect blue water waves. Speaking of waves, it’s pretty good here at the moment. All day off shore trade winds and plenty of swell kept me in the water from sun-up to sun-down.
