A solid blow from the North East overnight has whipped up a peaky swell that is hitting the beach in messy, short period fashion. It’s not pretty, but it is surfable. Just before the sun came out I saw a few guys luck into some wedgy barrels on one of the banks near the south end. Paddle around for a while, fight the rips and you might get yourself a few worthwhile waves…
