the autumn ocean…
May 24th, 2012
For most of us there is no reason to take a surfboard to the beach today. Call it another flat day and get on with something productive. Having said that, there were two people catching waves this morning and having a total blast. They were somewhere between 6 and 9 years old and dad was pushing them into a few screamers!.. I got speaking to the little guy on the beach about his boards, “This is my bigger board” – “oh, how big is it? – “4’10”… I bet within three years he surfs better than most of us!…
Yesterday I again took advantage of the magically calm seas and clear water and did some snorkelling around the Queenslciff headland. Watching the beds of seagrass swaying with the oceans movement, bathed in sunshine, was a mesmerising sight!…
Enjoy your day,
Joel Coleman…
