Autumn mornings…
March 16th, 2011
It was pretty much a full house for the early session this morning. Boards of every kind lined up from headland to headland all enjoying the autumn skies. It really did not matter that there were very few waves coming through. With an awesome morning, warm water and blue skies there was a pretty mellow vibe in the water, except for the occasional drop-in… Like the last few days the wind is forecast to move around to the SE by this afternoon. Although this will put a chop in the surface, there will probably be waves around for most of the day… The swell forecast for the weekend is confusing me, some charts are showing long period swell at 3 foot and others 6 foot. The middle ground is probably the safe bet!
