The show began late…

March 4th, 2011

the show began a little late today...

The show began a little late this morning, but better late than never right? At about 8:00am the sky changed from a dull grey to a patchwork of highlighted clouds with rays of sun striking though on the horizon. It was worth waiting around for. As for the waves, it was nothing too exciting, but if you were riding a longboard there were banks producing waves around two foot which were rideable and looked to be improving as the morning went on. A friend headed over the hill and found a south facing swell magnet that was definitely attracting more swell. The weekend looks to have a spike in wave heights, however finding an option that will be out of the wind might be a little more of a challenge.
One spot has come available for the trip we are doing to the Solomon Islands from 31 March to April 11. If you are interested in coming then get in touch. More information on the trip is available here.
The saltmotion gallery is open all weekend (Market Place, Manly) come by and see the best  saltmotion works on display.
