They don’t get on…

February 23rd, 2011

colourful start...

I have a feeling (conjured up by reading a few early surf reports) that if you head South over a few bridges before the winds kick in you will probably find waves a little bigger than what we have at Manly today. The south swell is producing some rides for us and the early morning offshore that brought clean surface conditions was very welcome. I even saw the bommie start to break on the low tide. But South swell and Manly just don’t get on that well and most of the lines that began to break very quickly turned into the kind of wave best suited to practising your close-out floater… The up side was most banks along the beach had a similar close out to play with so crowd numbers were pretty low and spread out.

Enjoy your day,

Joel Coleman…
