We chanced our arm heading over to Indonesia in the wet season. Sometimes you can luck in and get weeks of perfect waves with no crowds. And sometimes things are a little less than perfect. It seems, this trip, we got the best of it on the first few days and the swell has slowly been on the decline since then. Now it is all but flat. With little hope of there being any waves for the last few days of the trip we have jumped over to the next island which offers a bit more to do when the surf is flat.

Picture perfect beaches and white sands greeted us when we arrived this afternoon. I hope to be able to bring you some ‘postcard pictures’ for the last few updates of the trip – prey for some sunshine and that might just happen!…
