After such a long spell of ordinary waves it is not surprising how many people were keen for an early surf. Add to that the southerly wind direction meaning Manly would have been one of the only spots with offshore waves and you can start to understand just why it was so crowded in the water this morning. The only way to describe it wash chaos!… There were a few patient people waiting for the sets over at the bower and the reward for the ultra-long wait was a wave to yourself, and no human obstacles in the way! Despite the people traffic it was a great morning at the beach and I hope you were one of the crew out there amongst it all!…
