Friday Off…

If you were to sneak a day off this week, then today would probably be the pick. The swell that was forecast to back off by yesterday afternoon is still there. The wait between sets has increased a little, but, with sunny blue skies and temps in the 20’s today the wait will probably be enjoyable!… Plenty of action on the beach this morning; it seems that a lot of people are breaking out of their winter hibernation caves and getting active again! Looks like we will have offshore winds most of the weekend but the swell will be shifting and fading. Should still be something worth surfing though.
Last night Yahoo!7 launched a new lifestyle sports destination website called Banzai. The site is full to overflowing with information on surfing, snowboarding, triathlon and adventure sports. Content is drawn dynamically from all over cyberspace and users are encouraged to interact and share information with each other, so check it out you may even find something from saltmotion lurking in the surf section…
