Bower greys

It’s pretty ordinary out there today with windy, grey and wet conditions up and down the coast. If you are desperate for a wave then you are pretty much guaranteed to have it to yourself. The ocean swimmers were, as always braving the cold, mostly without wetsuits for their morning swim. Unfortunately the swell outlook suggests finding something else to do for the next few days could be a good option.  I’m thinking a travel agent and some tropical wax could be a good way to max the credit card…

The ocean swimmers are the ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ an informal group loosely connected with Manly LSC who swim to Shelly and back every day from Manly Surf Pavilion at 7 am. It’s strictly non-competitive and the aim is to enjoy the surroundings whilst doing a bit of fitness. http://www.pacificjules.com.au/bold-beautiful.php Come on in, the water’s lovely!
