Straight Through…

July 22nd, 2010

no takers

Looking at today’s photos you could be forgiven for thinking that it was a nice warm day down at the beach. Truth is this morning the wind was ripping straight through the layers and reminding us just how good summer here really is! No complaints though as a stronger south east swell has shown up in town making for some fun winter waves up and down the beach. If you are looking for a bit more size then have a hunt at the more exposed beaches. Winds are expected to swing a little more south through the day.

Make sure you check the sequence photos in the filmstrip today – just click through below.

I am now hooked. The"Queenscliff colours" photograph is magic.
I have, today, sent your website to our friends in Canada who are familiar with the Manly Beach area. Just to make them envious.
p.s. the comments are as excellent as the photos.
p.s.s. the coffee is also good
    Cheers

Been living in the UK for the past 8 years and never felt so homesick. The waves and photography… stunning.
Thanks for putting the light back on at the end of the barrel.

Hay there Greer, thanks for sending our part of the web onto your friends in Canada, if they are ever in Manly I hope they can stop by for a coffee one day!…

Giles, really glad that I can bridge that gap between the UK and home for you!.. Remember a magic sunrise and a few waves are only a plane ride away.

    Joel.
