A slow start to the week wave wise with the swell backing right off to the 1 – 2 foot range. The good news is this does look to be the low point of the week with the enlightened swell gurus starting to twitch about some new ocean energy in a few days. We were blessed again with a spectacular sunrise that made the wind chill standing on the cliff a little easier to bear, all parts of the ocean and sky changing colour rapidly through a 15 minute show…

Tickets for the eye-opening documentary “The Cove” are still available. The film is screening on the 11th August at Manly Cinemas with all proceeds going straight back to help stop the killing of whales and dolphins. Buy online or stop by the saltmotion gallery and café to secure your seat.
