In the dark

July 14th, 2010

empty one to start

Damn dark early which kind of makes it hard to photograph anything!.. Once it brightened up a little I could see a noticeable pulse of swell from the east blessing our shores this morning – surface conditions are smooth for the time being and should stay that way until later in the day when the wind is due to increase. The Manly stretch had some good waves although bank quality seems to be a little down on what it is was a few weeks ago. If you have the time this morning and fancy a drive you will probably find some decent waves about the place.

If you have not seen the documentary “The Cove” then don’t miss the opportunity to see it on the big screen on Wednesday the 11th August – Manly Cinemas. Kym Campbell will be performing a live set on the night and money raised from the event goes straight back into the cause. Tickets available from the saltmotion gallery & café for $15 (no booking fee!) and online at moshtix.

Enjoy your day,
