social

Plenty of people out this morning enjoying the social side of surfing. Having a laugh, watching the sunrise and trying to catch a few small waves. Unless you are riding a longboard, mini-mal or stand up paddle then you are kind of wasting your time as the swell is just not packing any punch. Some charts are starting to show an increase in activity from the south later in the week so hang in there!..

If you have not seen the documentary “The Cove” then don’t miss the opportunity to see it on the big screen on Wednesday the 11th August – Manly Cinemas. Kym Campbell will be performing a live set on the night and money raised from the event goes straight back into the cause. Tickets available from the saltmotion gallery & café and online at moshtix.

Enjoy your day,

    Thanks Brett,

settings were: 1/1600 @ f3.2 with a 50mm lens – it took a few goes to get the water framed up in the right spot.

    Have a great day,

    Joel.
