rails and whitewash

It was pretty dark early this morning with a thick band of cloud hanging low over the beaches. The swell is still hanging in there although it seems to have turned a little more south in direction, winds were WSW but are now howling straight from the south making southern corners the only surfable options. Worth a paddle still but don’t kick yourself if you miss out today.

I know most of you that live in Manly don’t like heading over the bridge for any reason. So the guys from HCBS whale watching charters (who took me out a few weeks ago, photos here) now pick up from the Manly Skiff Club. Give Todd a call and book a trip. It is a pretty amazing thing to get so close to these creatures.

Enjoy your day,
