winter mornings

empty feathering lefts

Firstly I would like to say thanks to everyone who came by the gallery and café and made out opening weekend a memorable one. The support really was amazing. Now to today’s surf. There are plenty of waves to be had, in the waist to shoulder high range, with crisp offshore winds still grooming the faces and making a surf very inviting. Crowd numbers were surprisingly low for the early surf as well. I suppose the cold is encouraging a few to hit the snooze button rather than face a wet wettie!..  The swell looks to be backing off a bit over the next few days, however there is already another pulse starting to show on the charts for later in the week. Gotta love these winter swells…

Just found this great photo, which happened to be my 40th Bday….. If I had loads of spare cash, I’d buy it . I went to your gallery today, and was super impressed with your amazing photos. You are a lucky man to have that projection..
