Surf Photography

The Volcom contest crew arrived into town this morning for two days of competition that has bought with it a talented bunch of young surfers eager to impress. I always like to photograph the warm-up sessions more that the heats. All the competitors trying to feel out a break and get physiological edge on their peers by giving it all they have whilst not being judged. There were plenty of sponsors stickers and brightly coloured boards around, pity about the grey overcast morning and the lack of swell…
