Kind of uninspiring down at the beach this morning. There were only two guys out at 6:30am so that pretty much says it all… The weather gurus are telling us it is going to clear to a fine day so the surf will probably look a little more inviting once there is some sunshine on it.
One of the best things to do when the surf is not that great is go and buy a new board. You get all amped about surfing again and life just seems good.. Blake Peters from Panda loves nothing more than being covered in foam dust and sniffing resin fumes. I was there yesterday for a while hanging out, talking all things surfing, drooling over all the boards in stock and taking a few photos (which were a lot more interesting than the surf was this morning) . If you are hoping that Santa will deliver you a new board for Christmas then you better get your order in really soon as custom boards take 3-4 four weeks. (Panda)
