Stolen Surfboards, Creative Kids & Onshore Winds

October 27th, 2009

Dark colourful sunrise…

Let’s start with the surf. It’s still blowing onshore, there is some swell, but it is very messy and uninviting. It looks like we are in for a few more days of this so be patient!…

I received an email last night about some stolen surfboards. Most of them were custom made and have ‘doug’ written on the stringer. There is a $1000 reward on offer for their return: 6’6 – JS, 6’8 – JS, 6’7 Webber, 7’ Warner, 6’10 Gunter – Local Motion and a 5’10 Clear surfboard with a skull spray on the bottom. If you have any information please email me and I will put you in touch with Doug. To the person that stole them, Karma will find you!…

One more thing!… If you happen to have an old board lying around then please think about donating it to the Manly Festival of Surfing as they are looking to turn them into chalkboards for the young children to get creative on during the festival. If you can help out with a board please email Angela.

enjoy your day,

Joel Coleman
