Firstly I have to say that today’s photos are as they came out of the camera. I have not used any filters or altered the colours in any way. If you live in Sydney you are by this stage well aware of the dust storm that has choked the city. When I woke up before dawn it took me some time to figure out what was going on with the sky glowing red and looking like the beginning of the apocalypse!.. The surf is probably the best place to be (to wash the dust off). There are a number of banks up and down the beach producing rideable waves in the two to three foot region. They are just a little hard to see from the beach!
