As the swell dropped back slightly overnight the crowds have increased this morning. All the locals were hungry for a few waves before work and all the competitive juniors that are here at the moment were mixing it up in the water prior to the start of the contest. If you want a mellow surf with just a few friends my advice is hit the highway for a few hours!… Having said that there is some amazing surfing taking place at the moment and sitting and watching for a while as the next batch of up and coming competition surfers tear waves apart is a pretty entertaining show…
Local Manly photographers have only got a few days left to enter the “Manly Arts Festival 2009 – Light & Water Photography Competition” There are some great prizes to be won but most importantly the money raised through the event will be donated to the Manly Manado charity.
