“the set”

I spent about an hour and a half at the beach this morning taking photos; there was the usual mix of sunrise shots, shortboard hacks and longboard style with most waves providing a few turns then a close-out. That was until “the set” came through. I found myself looking through the lens in awe of a perfect set that looked like a mirror image of the pass at Byron Bay. The lucky punters that managed to pick one of the waves will still be grinning uncontrollably and bragging to their mates about scoring the wave of the day. I wish I could tell you that they kept on rolling in, but that would be a lie!… I have posted all 37 frames below, enjoy.

enjoy our day,
