Lunctime swim

Today looks to be the last day of small waves. Things should start to improve by this afternoon and the weekend is looking pretty good for a surf. This morning there was a tiny wind effected swell rolling in from the east, again best suited to the bigger boards.

I ducked away from my desk at lunchtime yesterday to go for a swim. The photos you see are all from a half hour dip at Queenscliff where the water is as clean and clear as I have ever seen in Sydney. There was a small 1 foot wave breaking in knee high water and the low winter light produced some amazing colours.
