early loggin’ at freshwater beach.

I have a friend who lives in the Caribbean. They get surf there, good surf. But it can go flat for up to six months of the year when there is barely a ripple to stand up on. That kind of puts this run of small swells into perspective for me. It might have been small for the past few weeks but it has been rideable and on the right equipment (10 foot mal) you can put a smile on your face that will last all day… So get out there and get your toes on the nose of a classic old board and make the most of these small but glassy waves we have been getting so often lately…

enjoy your day.
