From the south

loggin’ at freshie…

While Manly still looks like a frozen lake there is a small wave coming out of the south that is producing some little peelers at the beaches facing that way. There were two guys in the corner at Freshwater picking of all the good waves. One of them was riding an Alaia (an ancient surf craft that looks like an ironing board and has no fins) after about half an hour he managed to get a wave and get to his feet, no easy task!… I’m giving up trying to figure out when the next swell is due. Some say it will be six foot by tomorrow afternoon, other say two foot!… ughh?

enjoy your day,

Joel Coleman
