catching the sun part one

A clear morning with the winter sun low in the sky made for some fairly spectacular light for photographing the surf early this morning. A small crowd was lit up for a while with every turn creating golden sprays… The onshore winds continue to punish us so wave quality is low and so are crowd numbers. Once the sun moved a little higher the show was pretty much over and it was back to looking like the onshore mess that is really is!…
