Reminder

enjoying the sunrise show…

There is a definite chill in the air this morning and the run across the cold sand serves as a reminder that we are saying goodbye to autumn soon and moving into winter. The waves today did not seem to be lining up that well, however there were plenty of people out for the early making the most of what was there. There is a new swell arriving for the weekend so keep your eye on things…

enjoy your weekend…

Agreement

winter like sunrise this morning…

With a small clean swell, winter like sunrise and some amazing colours in the water and sky the beach was the place to be this morning and crowd numbers suggest that others agree with me. There is a good bank at Queenscliff that is producing lefts and rights even though the swell has backed off to the two foot region. Looks like a pulse in swell for the weekend so start making some plans…

enjoy your day…

sunrise swells…

there was a peak splitting nicely for a left and a right..

The pile of kelp is now topping 6 foot at Queenscliff!…

Big turns

kind of like Occy!…

Big turns seemed to be the thing to do this morning. An early inspection showed a good right and left offering some long rides, however as the tide filled in things changed and the inside section at Queenscliff started to reform into some nice whackable walls!…

enjoy your day…
